Special containers

We have containers in our fleet that are suitable for products that require special safety and handling measures. The main types of this equipment are listed below.

TWINPOT

Twinpot is a 20 foot container with two compartments instead of one. This allows 2 products to be transported at the same time in one container. We have a capacity of 2 x 13000ltr and some of them also have a wave breaker.

All valves are identical to the standard container, but there are 2 sets of valves.

The drain valves are located on the stern and side of the container as shown in the photo below.

If you need more information on a type of container that is not listed below, please feel free to contact you. We can provide or even build a tank container specifically to your requirements.

GROUND OPERATED VAPOR RETURN (GOVR)

These containers have the ability to be operated completely from the ground without having to climb to the top of the container. This increases operator safety and is a requirement in some plants.

BAFFLED

Standard containers can be filled between 0-20% or 80-95% to follow safety regulations and minimise the wave effect when the container is moving.

Breakwaters are walls inside the container that absorb the wave effect and make the container more stable during transport, making it possible to fill the container between 0-95%.

TOP BOTTOM

Top bottom containers are standard 20ft T11 tanks having both bottom and top valve connections. This allows loading / unloading in a closed circle without product vapors entering the atmosphere. For this reason, they are equipped with a 3’’ top valve and a stack pipe.

TANKS T50 AND T75

T50 UN portable gas tank containers are designed for high pressure gases. The tanks are designed and built in accordance with: IMDG, RID/ADR, ASME VII DIV 2, UIC, CSC, CFR49, U2 Stamp in.

T75 UN portable cryogenic tank containers are designed for the transport of refrigerated liquefied gas. These tanks can be manufactured in 10ft, 20 ft and 40 ft frames.

ELECTRICAL HEATED TANKS

In our fleet we have containers equipped with heating systems to warm up the product in transit. We offer a delivery service on a Genset-equipped chassis, which makes heating possible during transport on a lorry. All our heated containers are equipped with GPS tracking, allowing customers to monitor online the position of the container and the temperature of the cargo.

T14 AND T20

T14 and T20 are containers designed for transporting special cargoes, and their main distinction from T11 is the absence of a bottom valve to reduce the risk of leakage. The difference between T14 and T20 lies in the thickness of the shell metal and the maximum working pressure.
